After that, the faculty and staff of Springfield Elementary hatched a scheme where virtually any student offense resulted in the students' being sent to detention, after which they were served as food and their absence explained away by saying that they were in "permanent detention". The scheme began with Jimbo (who was served as "Sloppy Jimbo"), continued with [[Üter Zorker]] ("Üterbraten"), and escalated until the few students remaining were all merged into one class. The last survivors were [[Bart]], [[Lisa]], [[Milhouse]], [[Wendell Borton]] and [[Ralph Wiggum]]. When Wendell dropped a pencil and [[Mrs. Krabappel]] gleefully sent him to detention, Milhouse suggested that he and Bart and Lisa try to escape. The trio succeeded in sneaking out of the room, but were quickly caught and "gooified" in a giant food processor. In the end, it was revealed that the whole story was Bart's nightmare.
