Vatican City is a sovereign city-state located within Rome, Italy.

History

After the Angel Skeleton was dug up in Springfield, and supposedly predicted the Apocalypse, a man told the Pope about the incident. The Pope, reading a newspaper at the time, told the man to "keep an eye on it".

Michelangelo was once seen painting the roof of the Sistine Chapel with what would eventually become Moe's bar rag.
