Emergency Scientist is a The Simpsons comic strip that was first published in 2001.

Plot

Homer finds out that they have cracked the genetic code and he thinks that this is a horrible outrage. Lisa asks him if he knows what a genetic code is. Homer answers Lisa that he doesn't, and requests an emergency scientist. Homer breaks the glass to the emergency scientist where Professor Frink is. Homer asks him what they had done with the genetic code and he demands the truth. Professor Frink informs him that he can't handle the truth, but Homer tells him that he can. Professor Frink starts telling the code for Homer, in which he starts to sleep. Lisa tells Frink that some are more complex than others, and Frink tells her that he understands.
