Vehicle Information
Owner: Captain Burns
Use: Luxury cruise ship
First Appearance: "The Wettest Stories Ever Told"

The Neptune was a luxury cruise liner. It appeared in a story told by Homer.

History

Many people from with all types of lives were aboard the Neptune on its maiden voyage. In the dining hall, Disco Stu introduced Captain Burns to the stage. Captain Burns told the passengers that the ship was unflippable and told them all to just enjoy themselves. The Simpson family then performed the song "Heading for Disaster" on stage.

Captain Burns stopped paying full attention to the seas and a huge wave caused the ship to flip over, killing many people on board. The survivors made their way up the ship, trying to get to safety. During their escape attempt, Comic Book Guy and Sideshow Mel died. They were eventually saved by a rescue crew and got out onto the rescue boat. The Bounty then sailed past the wreckage, with Fletcher Christian asking the survivors if they knew where Tahiti was.
