The Springfield Seed Fair was a fair organised by the Simpsons Family after they were in debt and the town's Enviro-bears (Kid's environmental group) wanted to beautify the town.
Pre-fair[edit]
Bart decided to buy crates of Armenian Seeds to get a crossboy after reading about the offer in a Z-man comic. After purchasing many boxes Bart realized how much seeds he needed to buy to get a crossboy. During the next Enviro-Bears meeting they were decided to sell Bart's Armenian seeds but had no success. The Simpsons Family then had parts of their house taken away to pay for their seeds. Grampa then suggested they organise atown fair to raise money.
To raise awareness of the fair Homer talked to his work-mates but they poinetd out that Mr. Burns will punish any employee that goes to the fair (he has an allergy to "growing things"). Meanwhile Lisa and Bart phone apparently everyone in town and cried until they agreed to attent the town's seed fair.
Seed fair[edit]
The seed fair was a huge success. Eye on Springfield did a fashion report on the fair, while many other citizens put up their own stands.
Stands[edit]
- "Knock-Over The Milk Bottels" - A Blinky prize for winners.
- "Pony Rids" - Organised by Snake.
- "Chocolate Dipped Bananas" - Run by Mr. Teeny.
- "summer Squash Squishy" - Sold my Manjula
- Three original members of the "Be Sharps" sang.
- "Kissing Booth" - $2 Cost. Run by Moe (With no success, even with free seeds).
- "Pie and Gossip" - By Helen Lovejoy who loves spreading gossip.
- "Lemonade" - Served by Agnes Skinner.
- "Krazy Kanjun Seed filled Fritters"
- Dunk a Clown" - $5. Aim is to get Krusty in the pool. The Sea Captain was caught cheating by hiding extra balls in his flab "pouch".
- Gazebo acts - Lisa, Bart, Milhouse, and Sherri or Terri sang a song about Springfield.
Mr. Burns was not happy about the fair and orderd Smithers to fire a death ray (which only affects plants). To Burns's surprise the "Death Ray" made the Armenian seeds grow super fast and the whole town was covered in beautiful flowers.
Post-fair[edit]
An invention by Professor Frink detected that the "death rays" fired by Mr. Burns made all the adults infertile. This caused huge celebration. The fair raised more than enough money to pay of The Simpsons's debts. It is assumed that the extra money went to the enviro-bears club.
