Synopsis[edit]
- "When Marge and the kids take a seaside vacation, Homer is unwittingly tempted by a British femme fatale."
Plot[edit]
Groundskeeper Willie tells the story around a campfire, with Nelson, a furret and a squirrel listening: it all begun in Britain, at The Brexiting Swan pub, where men, including him, was fighting over Lily's love.
Lily is shown being loved all over London, so much that a jury sends her to America, where, after refusing Leonardo DiCaprio's love, she goes to visit Springfield, and stops at Moe's.
When Marge and the kids remember Homer they were leaving for a vacation, invited by her aunt (though he's not invited), he follows them on foot on the road to make sure he's loved. When they reassure him as such, Homer finds himself at Moe's, where Lily is singing a song about pubs.
After the song ends, Homer enters the pub and Lily finds it mesmerizing how he doesn't offer her a seat or a beer and they talk on what's wrong with him, as she offers the advice to enjoy the time alone so he won't regret it.
Marge and the kids arrive at the island where her aunt resides, while Homer is sighing, missing them. Lily comforts him singing "Lili Marleen", but he ignores her, making her cry and leave the tavern, where she declares her love for him to Barney.
The next day, Bart goes into the forest just to ending up getting the Lyme disease, being cured by Marge, while Lily brightens men's life at the Power Plant, while at the island tourists arrive and create chaos, so Marge decides they're going back home.
Homer invites Lily on a date but reveals it's just a date with Mr. Burns on his Gone Fission, but Homer is invited as chaperon by her, and he finds himself falling for her, while Burns tries to conquer her, failing miserably, so they leave the boat.
As he takes her home she steals a kiss from him, after he confesses his feeling towards her, similar to the ones for Marge. That night he tries to stay awake to avoid dreaming about her, but he falls asleep, only to be woken up by Marge's return.
He gets a call from Lily to go to her home, but in the end he returns back to Marge, offering her a flower, demonstrating his love for her. At the Springfield International Airport, Lily boards the flight back to London, where at The Sweet Conclusion pub, she meets a Homer lookalike and ends up going with him on a date.
