The Simpsons Forever! was the second book in The Simpsons Forever series and the first follow up to The Simpsons: A Complete Guide to Our Favorite Family. It covered Season 9 and Season 10.

Description

"Picking up where The Simpsons: A Complete Guide to our Favorite Family left off, The Simpsons Forever! brings all the history, tidbits, and cold hard facts on every episode from the past two years, and much, much more. Fans will find the highlights of all the shows from seasons nine and ten, plus eyeball–busting two–page spreads for special episodes (like the annual Halloween show). Heavily packed into these pages are updated favourites like Best Homerisms, Famous Chalkboard Sayings, All–New Simpsons Singalong Lyrics, Couch Gags, and classic screen images. And, yes – it's all cross–referenced! The ultimate celebration of America's Favorite – and longest running – cartoon family, The Simpsons Forever! is a must!"

Errors in The Simpsons Forever!

Airdates

  • On the fifty-second page, the book claims that When You Dish Upon a Star was first aired on November 8, 1999 instead of November 8, 1998 when it was actually aired. This was fixed in the eighth reprint.

Chalkboard gags

  • In page thirty-four, the chalkboard gag for Simpson Tide is stated to be "My butt does not deserve its own website". The correct gag is "My butt does not deserve a website". This was corrected in the eighth reprint.
  • In page thirty-eight, the guide does not state the chalkboard gag for Trash of the Titans. The chalkboard gag added in the eighth reprint of the book.

Characters

  • In page 12, the "real" Principal Skinner's uniform is said to be olive green instead of dark green.

Episodes

  • The episode number (5F05) for Lisa the Skeptic is missing. This has been corrected in the eighth edition.
  • In "The Stuff You May Have Missed" section on page twenty-four, Homer the Great's episode number is stated as 1F09 instead of the correct production code 2F09. This was fixed in the eighth reprint of the book.
  • In "The Stuff You May Have Missed" section on page twenty-five, it says that in Bart Carny, it states that Krusty is squirted in the face by Bart when it actually was Lisa. This was fixed in the eighth reprint of the book.
  • In "The Stuff You May Have Missed" section on page forty one and forty eight, the episode The City of New York vs. Homer Simpson is called The People of New York vs. Homer Simpson. The eighth reprint fixed the name on the forty-first page, but not the forty-eighth.
