Chief Wiggum asks Lou and Eddie if they feel like getting some Belgian waffles.[1]
When Lisa Simpsons visits the new comic book store, Coolsville, she discovers a shelf with Asterix and Tintin comics. As she reads a comic book, Tintin mentions that they have to save the Belgian ambassador.[2]
When the Simpsons traveled to Ireland, Lisa mentioned that Ireland is on the forefront of Europe's "tech-boom".
