Homer wobbles home while singing and a cop takes him to jail for the night for being a danger to the city, like making Kirk fall in the water or bending lamposts, and he calls Marge that says to not come home and throws a I love you paper in the "missed dinners" box.
He's put in jail with Cletus, that sings him a song with a guitar, about family, that makes him think, and when he comes home, he makes a promise to become a "perfect example", making Bart stand up when Marge enters the room.
