The Springfield Police helicopter is the police aircraft used by the Springfield Police Department for aerial patrol, surveillance, and pursuit operations.

History

Homer and Marge went skinny-dipping in their pool when Chief Wiggum’s helicopter flew overhead. Using a megaphone, Wiggum told them not to be alarmed and urged them to continue swimming naked while he watched and ate popcorn. When Homer and Marge noticed they were being spied on and stopped, Wiggum—frustrated—ordered Lou to open fire after they refused to continue.
