Season 28 is the next season of The Simpsons. It will premiere on September 25, 2016.^[2] The 4th episode of the season will be the 600th episode of the show.

Announcement

On May 4, 2015, FOX announced that The Simpsons had been renewed for seasons 27 and 28.^[3]
