Prehistoric Marge manages to spear jump over the wolf to her kids, while present Marge barely avoids spike traps and manages to pass the guards, but both find an obstacle, a gap in the mountain and a high fence. In the past, she uses a big tree to cross, while in the present she tosses the kids over the fence and climbs it. To get past the ticket checks, she hides outside food in other people's purses and tells [[Squeaky-voiced teen]] about it, confusing them. In the past, the wolf awaits them at the entrance to the grotto, in the present, guards block the entrance.

In the present, she manages to pass using butter and the flash of the phone, but Bart points out what she become, a primitive looking scary woman, and tells her to take them home, not wanting to lose her only good parent. In the past, the wolf is hit by a rock fallen thanks to a thunder, but she manages to stop her anger and lift the rock from its foot and stitch it, and the wolf become like a pet.

At the end, Milhouse points out to Luann how he might be a bad influence but he's the only one he has, and Marge brings tickets to them saying how the front row wouldn't be the same without Bart's best friend. Marge and Luann hug and the prehistoric family had dinner in their new home, with Homer's head on a rock to remember him, with the wolf becoming like a dog to them, eating together.
