The LZ 129 Hindenburg was an airship that caught fire and was destroyed during its attempt to dock on May 6, 1937.
History
A poster featuring the album artwork of Led Zeppelin album was seen, which featured a black-and-white image of the burning Hindenburg airship.[1][2]
The filmstrip that Mr. Burns used to train Santa's Little Helper as a killer included a clip of the Hindenburg exploding.[3]
Bart got a Hindenburg-themed checkbook from the bank, and it had the words "Oh, the humanity!" printed on top.[4]
The Hindenburg disaster was published in the Herald.[5]
The color picture on the back wall behind Lisa at the Cafe Kafka was of the Hindenburg disaster.[6]
