The Simpsons: Tapped Out Superheroes content update

The help panel for this event.
The Simpsons: Tapped Out Superheroes content update was released on February 18, 2015, under a new app version 4.13.0. This event follows on from the hint players were receiving Fallout Boy in Valentine's Day 2015. There will be three prize tracks in this event, like Halloween 2014. The event is split into four issues, theretically five with a "Crossover" planned. There will also be crafting enabled at the Android's Dungeon, and Personal Prizes for each issue. The event will end on March 31, 2015.
The premise of the event is Criminals invading Springfield. Issue One of the event began on February 17, 2015 at 8am (GMT). Issue Two will begin on February 22 at 8am, Issue Three on March 10 at 8am, the "Crossover" starts on March 23 at 9am, Issue Four begins March 24 at 8am, and the event ends March 31 at 8am.
Carbon Rods, Pie Bombs and Freeze Rays are the event currency. Also changed in this event is the fact there is a new dialogue format and ambient music. This event also adds the first (non-permanent, however) cutscene since the game's launch.
Event features
Upgrading
The Superior Squad HQ can be upgraded for larger task payouts and a larger Criminal-tap radius. You can use Arbitrarium, which can be collected in various ways after "A New Hero Rises Pt. 1". Upgrading is not necessary, but is to complete both quests in the mini-questline "Superior-ior Squad HQ". Fireworks and a brief soundtrack happen when levelling up.
The menu that displays when tapping on Superior Squad HQ. This building is Level 21.
The panel showing what Arbitrarium does.
You can also upgrade with donuts. 1 Arbitarium is approximately 3.
Superior Squad HQ rewards
At Level 0, the reward is 0 Carbon Rods every 4 hours. Then, once you level up to 1, it is 35 Carbon Rods every 4 hours. Every time you upgrade, there are 10 more Carbon Rods rewarded per 4 hours. For example, at Level 7 you have 95 Carbon Rods/4 hours.

Friend Actions
In a friends' town, you can do SIX daily actions, as opposed to the usual three. Three of them are tapping Criminals, while the other are reporting crimes, which can be done by tapping on the phone icon above all buildings. Only the latter rewards cash, while all reward Carbon Rods.
After tapping on Spied-on Buildings, the yellow logo will disappear and a message will pop up saying "Spied by [player name]". Spied-on Buildings will also have their animations running while the yellow logo is above it.

Criminals
Criminals first appear in towns during the quest "A New Hero Rises Pt. 1". You tap on them to collect Carbon Rods, which will give out 15 each time, and have a chance to dispense of Arbitrarium, which is used to level up Superior Squad HQ.
Felons
A guide to Felons (which appears after completing "Montgomery Burns State Prison Pt. 2".)
Felons are like Criminals, but can only be cleared using Superhero costumes for characters/Fallout Boy obtained in the event during the quest: "Montgomery Burns State Prison Pt. 2". Burns State Prison spawns 1 Felon every 8 hours, and one upon building. Felons also have three hearts, meaning the task must be done three times on one Felon to defeat it. Only 5 Felons can be in one town at a time.
It costs 100 to rush the reward.

When the task "In Battle" by a Felon is finished, the game will send a notification to the device reading "Felon has finished In Battle." After one heart is depleted, an animation of a breaking heart will appear above the Felon's head.
There is also a Glitch involving the questline and the felons.

If my demands are not met, I will destroy Springfield!

That's nothing. We've been destroyed a dozen times over. Six times by me alone!
|
|
But this time the entire town will be reduced to rubble and you'll have to clean it up!
|
|
Cleaning up things is why I had kids.
|
|
But you'd have to re-build your town too. Think of all that work!!
