"My Octopus and a Teacher" is the eighteenth episode of season 33 of The Simpsons and the seven-hundred and twenty-fourth episode overall. It originally aired on April 24, 2022. Synopsis

"Bart can't control his feelings when he gets a new teacher. Meanwhile, Lisa befriends an octopus."

Plot

Lisa is recording a documentary, The Cephalopod Soulmate: After getting a C in 2nd grade, Lisa joined the Future Nature Documentarian Day Camp, going underwater and becoming friends with Molly, an octopus. Her recording is interrupted by Marge when she notices a shark trying to reach Molly and when she snaps a picture of her and Molly together. At school, Skinner and Chalmers welcome a new teacher, Rayshelle Peyton, who transfered to town with her husband.
