At a memorial for Franklin Chase, Marge sees a VHS showing a musical about Y2K, where she partecipated along with other Springfielders. Mrs. Chase gives Marge her High School prompt book, prompting more memories and the production of a musical, with her as stage manager.
Lenny however breaks his hip and is replaced by Homer, incited by Lisa and Bart. The people from back in 1992 return to repraise the show, and they try calling Sasha Reed, but to no avail. Sasha appears however on stage, singing about her past since they last seen her.
