Afghanistan is a country in Asia. Its capital city is Kabul.
History
When describing the conditions at Kamp Krusty, Kent Brockman mentioned that he has been to Vietnam, Afghanistan, and Iraq and he states that the camp is worse than all three.[1]
Kabul was once Springfield's sister city, however after the baby riot at Roofi's concert, they ended the affiliation.[2]
Jet claimed to have filmed in Afghanistan, Serbia and Lebanon, though in actuality he only filmed weddings in Dallas-Fort Worth.[3]
