  • This episode was originally to be the season 33 season finale. However, it was moved to being the antepenultimate episode of this season and "Poorhouse Rock" will air instead as a season finale.
  • El Margo is a reference to El Barto.
  • In the credits, the title sequence is shown in reverse, starting from the couch gag.
    • Maggie's price states "refund".
  • The episode was dedicated to Ian Wilcox who passed away on April 30th, eight days before this episode aired.
  • A similar gag of someone getting hurt repeatedly and flying onto power lines getting electrocuted is used on the Family Guy episode that premiered the same night titled: "Girlfriend, Eh?"
