Season 27 of The Simpsons is the season that aired during the 2015–16 United States network television schedule. It began on September 27, 2015 with "Every Man's Dream" and ended on May 22, 2016 with "Orange Is the New Yellow".

Announcement[edit]

Al Jean confirmed that The Simpsons "definitely won't end" in May 2015[1] and that Sideshow Bob will be in season 27.[2]

On May 4, 2015, FOX announced that The Simpsons had been renewed for seasons 27 and 28.[3]
