It is a reference to Happy Birthday, Mr. President when Marilyn Monroe sang at President John F. Kennedy's birthday gala held at Madison Square Garden.
It is the fifty-third (and last) track on the album Go Simpsonic with The Simpsons. The original lyrics is written by Mildred J. Hill and Patty Hill}. The parody lyrics is written by John Swartzwelder with arranged by Alf Clausen.
