Marcia Wallace

"Four Regrettings and a Funeral" was the first episode to air following Wallace's death on October 25, 2013.

• In tribute to Ms. Wallace, the episode's chalkboard gag was "We'll really miss you Mrs. K."
• The closing credits included a dedication clip. It was captioned "In loving memory of Marcia Wallace" and depicted Mrs. Krabappel sitting on her desk. After a brief silence, Mrs. K gave vent to her trademark "Ha!"

Kirk with gray hair

• When Marge is about to recall how she listened to KISS, Kirk Van Houten can be seen with gray hair.
• Alice Glick makes another post-death appearance at the funeral.
• Legs' colors constantly change at the beginning (at one point he has Blue Haired Lawyer's colors).
• Lionel Hutz's hair briefly changes from brown to black at the funeral.
• When Reverend Lovejoy asks if anyone had any regrets Sanjay has yellow skin and brown hair and Johnny Tightlips has blond hair.
• Whitney Spuckler is called "Peaches" by Cletus. This might just be Cletus making a mistake as he has so many children or he might have changed her name.
