- The senior cancelling headphones play Muzak music.
- One of the seniors has a AARP card.
- The "ringer" for Golden Exits Retirement Farm sings "Owner of an '80s Car", a parody of "Owner of a Lonely Heart" by Yes.
- One of the students at the Springfield Middle School wears an AC/DC T-shirt.
- Ralph tells Comic Book Guy that he wants to buy a "Batman". Comic Book Guy then asks him questions, including "Dark Knight or Adam West?"
- Ralph then tells Comic Book Guy that he wants the one where Batman eats lasagna, a reference to Garfield.
- A statue of Krusty frozen in carbonite is seen in The Android's Dungeon, a reference to Han Solo from Star Wars.
- Marge imagines a guy calling him Superman, to which he says due to copyright reasons he should be called Uber Hombre, before Uber Hombre appears next to him, saying the copyright in his country screwed him, and then the Scarlet Pimpernel appears, saying his copyright has expired, asking the others if they want to be him.
