The People's Republic of China is a country in Asia and its capital city is Beijing.

China is noteworthy for being one of the world's oldest civilizations and for being the most populous country in the world. Chinese culture is also popular worldwide, due to its cuisine and its festivals such as Chinese New Year.

The Simpson Family visited China along with Aunt Selma to bring her adopted daughter, Ling, home to Springfield.

Later, Bart got a job so he could get a minibike, and the job turned out to be helping agents of the Chinese government obtain technical secrets about the United States. Homer helped build a power plant but it blew up and Homer ran away.
