The To-do list is a list of tasks that need to be done on the wiki. Any user is free to start a task but please only start a task if you are going to finish it within three days.

Starting a task

If the task is going to take a long time, add the template {{WIP|<Username>}} to the top of the article. This tells us that someone is working on it.

List of tasks

Being worked on

• Improve all stubs.
• All appearance pages need to be completed with galleries and alphabetized.
• Create gags tabs for episodes with gags.
• Re-start The Simpsons Movie/Appearances and re-watch, making sure every character listed does actually appear. Make sure to add all other appearances too.
• Replace all Grabpics with screenshots or official images.

Long ongoing tasks

• Complete every tab for the shorts articles. (Needs serious work)
• Create all comic articles.
• Create articles for all redlinks.
• Make all articles follow the Manual of Style. (see here for articles needing this)
• Add categories to all images in only the images category.
• Complete all episode tabs.
• Add "In other languages" sections to each episode page.
• All song articles need infoboxes and to be in-universe.
• Many characters need a full list of appearances.
• Many articles need a full list of appearances.
• Write plots for missing episodes.
• Upload and/or replace the images in the Low quality images category with better quality versions.

Not started

• Vastly improve the Springfield General Hospital article including all information from the series and all appearances.
• Vastly improve the Springfield State Prison article to include a lot of information about it and all appearances.
• Vastly improve the Springfield Police Station article to include a lot of information about it and all appearances.
• Improve the Channel 6 article and split it into articles on the channel and the building.
• Improve the Luigi's article to contain all information.
• Improve the Spinster City Apartments article.
• Improve the Van Houten house article.
• Improve the Springfield Public Library article.
• Improve the Springfield Town Square article adding all appearances.
• Vastly improve the Springfield Grocery Store article.
• Add a whole heap of content to Season 10.
• Greatly improve the Bart's treehouse article.
• Improve the History article.
• Improve the Mayor Quimby's body guards article.
• Channel 6 News needs a major overhaul with all appearances, news stories, more detailed description and images.
• Complete the List of Lisa's sax solos, including other instruments used, and make a Lisa's sax solos article.
• List of couch gags needs to be fully completed and have images of every couch gag.
• Add all Springfield Shopper headlines and appearances.
• Make more words for the dictionary namespace.
• Add all comic releases to year pages.
• Add all the promotional images to the List of promotional images page.
• The McBain article needs to be reformatted and the giant block of text needs to be split up a bit. Needs images and there should also be an article about the movie series.
• Complete all of the transcripts.
• Improve the article for The Hounds.
• NoHomers.net's 50 Worst episodes needs to include results from 2009.
• Make a page for the NoHomers.net Top 100 episodes, including lists from 2009, 2012 and 2014.

Completed

• Create all needed Categories.
• Improve the Christmas article.
• Make a page for Seasons 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, 16, 17, 18 and 19.
• Add sections to the Moe's Tavern article about each transformation it has had and remove the small list.
• Season 20 need a list of episodes like Seasons 1-7.
• Make a page for Season 14.
• On Season 20, change "8 - 1" (etc;) to its correct one.
• Convert Template:DVD Boxset to new style.
• Add an appearance section to each Itchy and Scratchy cartoon
• Clean up the Hank Hill article.
• Turn Elementary School Musical/Appearances into a gallery (is a featured episode).
• Turn Who Shot Mr. Burns? (Part Two)/Appearances into a gallery (is a featured episode).
• Improve the Laramie Cigarettes and get an image.
• Put all characters in Alone Again, Natura-Diddily/Appearances together under Characters
• Season 21 need a list of episodes like Seasons 1-7.
• Turn Bart Gets an F/Appearances into a gallery (is a featured episode).
• Get the Adolf Hitler article up to standards.
• Improve the Apu's apartment article.
• Put the characters in the Simpsons characters template in alphabetical order by surname.
• Clean up and improve the The Simpsons Trading Card Game article and try to get images.
• Improve the Hullabalooza article.
• Complete D'oh-in' in the Wind/Credits. The episode would be a great Featured Episode; all it needs is to have the Credits tab finished.
• Get all Year articles up to date.
• Turn Homer's Barbershop Quartet/Appearances into a gallery (is a featured episode).
• There are two video game infoboxes, Template:Game infobox and Template:Video Game. All real world game articles should be using the Video Game infobox while all in-universe games should be using Game infobox.
• James L. Brooks needs a full list of credits. (Every episode, just under the right sections. See IMDb.)
• Change headers from Alone Again, Natura-Diddily/Credits into boldened words.
• Complete Marge on the Lam/Appearances (is a featured episode).
• Adding all the films to the {{Films}} template.
• Adding all the books to the {{Books}} template.
• Create all episode tabs.
• Add the rest of The Itchy & Scratchy Show episodes to appearance pages without them.
• Improve the Wiggum house article.
• Complete Homer vs. Dignity/Credits. This is a good episode article that only needs the Credits tab finished to be "ready for prime time".
• Create a Junior Campers article.
• Create every television channel from here and here.
• The List of writers page needs to be up to date with Season 24, 25 and 26 episodes
• The List of guest stars page needs to be up to date with 24, 25 and 26 episodes
• Improve the Louie article.
• Improve the Legs article.
• Change all the old tables to the new ones.
• The List of directors page needs to be up to date with Season 23, 24, 25 and 26 episodes
• Link to all orphaned articles.
