+ | :*slowly applauds* Well done on violating a policy in asking me to unblock you. "All I ask is one more chance." I gave you half a dozen "one more chances". I was lenient on you for some reason. Other users, I would have blocked a long time ago. However, you seemed eager to help out, which is why I let you stick around. However, it ended up with me having to cleanup your messes more often than you helping the wiki. You had many reverted edits, you broke pretty much every single policy on the wiki, except maybe a few. You broke more policies than any other user. I got sick and tired of having to clean up after your edits. Also, I've been going through a few problems over the last few months, with stress, depression and other mental issues. Having to deal with you every other day was making me worse. So, no, you aren't going to be unblocked. Not now, not ever. <span style="font-family:Algerian"><span style="color:green">The</span> <span style="color:red">Solar</span> <span style="color:blue">Dragon</span></span> 16:19, January 19, 2015 (EST) |

"loll" and "led" in The Simpsons Movie/Transcript
The transcript page was full of "loll" where it should have been "I'll" and "led" where it should have been "I'd". Can you think of any more words where this could have happened? | | Talk | Contributions | Edit count | 09:20, August 22, 2014 (EDT)
- It seemed to happen here. While a few of the "LF" was changed to "IF" (in lowercase ofc), the I'ds and I'lls became leds and lolls... Those are some weird changes. | | Talk | Contributions | Edit count | 09:25, August 22, 2014 (EDT)
- Best way to fix it would be to copy and paste into Notepad and use the find and replace function. Not sure if what Cook did was something like that, except something went wrong. It could well have been. The Solar Dragon 09:32, August 22, 2014 (EDT)
- Yeah, I've done that for the two I know of, but it's a bit tricky to not make mistakes when you're editing a 50k-word page. Words like "pulled" should actually have the "led". | | Talk | Contributions | Edit count | 09:37, August 22, 2014 (EDT)

ComicTabC
The template makes my sidebar go down a size and move inside the main content area. It first happened after this edit. | | Talk | Contributions | Edit count | 17:15, August 22, 2014 (EDT)
- Everything's fine to me. Which skin are you using? The Solar Dragon 17:29, August 22, 2014 (EDT)
- Vector. MonoBook also gets this happening to it. (The links are previews of the skins on the ComicTabC page). | | Talk | Contributions | Edit count | 17:38, August 22, 2014 (EDT)
- Think I fixed it. Although Monobook still looks a bit off... The Solar Dragon 17:51, August 22, 2014 (EDT)

Cool Brown House

Featured Article Link
The featured article on the main page is currently the Screamapillar, but it (the image) actually links to the Alice Glick article. Maybe that was the previous feature? Lustomatical (talk) 17:09, August 26, 2014 (EDT)

Barbarian Homer
Hey, would you be able to grab the pic of the notice when Barbarian Homer levelled up to 10? My device powered off and couldn't get the photo. Thanks, ~ Phinbart (talk • contribs) 04:55, August 29, 2014 (EDT)
Tapped Out
You have the game files, right? I remember PMing Outerhaven on the Tapped Out forum months ago and he said you had the game files. ~ Phinbart (talk • contribs) 06:43, August 30, 2014 (EDT)
- I'm sorry, I can't access them any more. I used my iPod to get into the files but my iPod was a pain in the ass, so I ended up getting rid of it. I no longer have access to the files. The Solar Dragon 08:38, August 30, 2014 (EDT)

Simpsons World the Ultimate Episode Guide: Seasons 1-20
Why is it interesting information that a character appears in this book? After all it is harder to find someone who is not mentioned in it. --2F13 (talk) 07:49, August 31, 2014 (EDT)
- Well, I've only listed appearances for characters who appeared as a factfile in the book. I don't do it if they just appear in a picture of quote. The Solar Dragon 09:02, August 31, 2014 (EDT)
- Eeerr... Steve Mobbs (page 973) has a reference to the book in Appearances section but Muk Mu on the next page has not. I don't understand the principle yet. :-) --2F13 (talk) 13:16, August 31, 2014 (EDT)
Wikisimpsons Answers Spam Users
Hi Solar! When a registered Spam Account puts spam comments or spam questions in Wikisimpsons Answers, should we block it from here(from Wikisimpsons site)?? And if so, should we add a Block Reason like "Spam in Wikisimpsons Answers" ?? / Loco87 (TALK / Contribs) 11:55, August 31, 2014 (EDT)
- Yes, block here. It also blocks on Answers. And just putting the usual spam notice will be fine. The Solar Dragon 12:23, August 31, 2014 (EDT)

I can't edit semi-protected pages =(
Hi Solar! I was going to edit the Robin Williams article, adding the section "Behind the Laughter", because he died in real life. But it turned out that article is semi-protected and i can't edit the semi-protected pages like before. Those 3 months of blockade were brought me terrible consequences. Would you give me the trusted rights again?. Greetings! --Barthony70099 Eat my shorts! Ay Caramba! 15:37, September 6, 2014 (EDT)
- Why on earth did Myth set an article like that to only-admins after one false edit...? | | Talk | Contributions | Edit count | 15:59, September 6, 2014 (EDT)
- He probably did it just to prevent from more false edits. / Loco87 (TALK / Contribs) 16:42, September 6, 2014 (EDT)
- When a celebrity dies, people often change the character status to deceased, even when the character wasn't mentioned to have been dead in the episode. Therefore, it's common practice to protect it, usually after the first bad edit. The Solar Dragon 17:12, September 6, 2014 (EDT)

- The day Williams died, I set the article to semi-protected status, and two minutes after that some schmuck changed the status of the Williams character from Alive to Deceased. So I ramped the protection up to Sysop to keep every Tom, Dick, and Harry IP from mucking it up again. -- Mythigator (talk) 20:00, September 6, 2014 (EDT)

Male Cast template
- Hey Solar! I've seen that in some pages you (your bot) changed
gender= Male/Female
togender= {{Male/Female cast))
instead ofgender=
. You should use your bot to fix those pages. / Loco87 (TALK / Contribs) 19:56, September 12, 2014 (EDT)
- Hi again Solar! First of all, it was only with the Male Cast template the Female Cast was OK. Secondly, I'm fixing it with AutoWikiBrowser, so you don't have to worry about this. And Finally, I want to Apologize to You and the whole wiki for having flooded RecentChanges. / Loco87 (TALK / Contribs) 20:38, September 12, 2014 (EDT)
- Hi Another time Solar! I've used AWB to change
{{Male cast)) to Male cast
, but I haven't changed it on all of the pages with that mistake. There still are some pages that need that to be changed. Could you finish this with your Bot so I don't flood more the Recent Changes page. Thanks, Loco87 (TALK / Contribs) 21:38, September 12, 2014 (EDT)- if you create a bot account, like by SolarBot account, I can give that bot privileges so it doesn't flood recent changes. Unwanted categories I accidentally added to some pages
Hey Solar! Could you use your Bot to remove some categories I accidentally added to some pages with AWB. The categories are Category:Living People
and Category:19xx Births
. Thanks Solar! I would do it myself with AWB but I don't want to flood Recent Changes. / Loco87 (TALK / Contribs) 15:28, September 13, 2014 (EDT)
- Okay, I'm on it. Removing the birth categories is going to be harder as I have to remove each individually though. Plus, removing them is easier with Pywikipediabot. So I'm using that instead. Make sure you have the general changes box unticked in future. That's the one that adds the categories. The Solar Dragon 15:43, September 13, 2014 (EDT)

Skin change? Or template change?
On the References and Appearances tabs for episodes and comic stories, the "[edit]" links for the sections are on the far left, rather than the far right. Is this from a recent change, or something I'm just now noticing? The position of the edit links makes the pages look awkward, particularly the References tabs. I use the MonoBook skin, so I'm wondering it might be a result of a change to the skin ... ? -- Mythigator (talk) 13:29, September 18, 2014 (EDT)
- Yes, this has happened in later versions of MediaWiki. It should be on all pages, not just those, but I have no idea why it isn't. The Solar Dragon 13:43, September 18, 2014 (EDT)
- Actually, I'd prefer for it to be gone from those pages. On the References pages in particular, having the edit links on the left really screws up the outline layout. But if that's not possible, I understand. -- Mythigator (talk) 13:50, September 18, 2014 (EDT)
- Yeah, it's a change that happened recently. It should be on the left for all the pages. I'm really not sure why it isn't. It might be possible to move it though, let me look into it. The Solar Dragon 13:59, September 18, 2014 (EDT)
- Okay, it's not a MediaWiki thing, it's to do with the templates. I tried to fix it, but in doing so I send the sidebar halfway down the page and I couldn't fix this. I thought having the edit buttons on the left would be better than having to scroll down to find the sidebar so I've left it... I'm sorry I couldn't find a proper fix. Editing tables
Hi. I don't know if you're the right one to ask but I'm having difficulty finding any documentation on how to edit tables in the style used on this wiki, e.g. on the page I want to edit. From what I can see, you're running MediaWiki and MediaWiki's documentation states a certain style for creating tables. But that's not the type of tables used on this Wiki, even though Help:Table_markup states that MediaWiki's style should be used. You're using something that looks like special templates. Are these documented anywhere? Normann (talk) 18:07, September 18, 2014 (EDT)
- That page is severely outdated. I'll give it a proper haul over at some point. The basics are documented in Template:Table. There are some more advanced features which you can see by looking at other tables I guess. The Solar Dragon 18:17, September 18, 2014 (EDT)
- Okay, I've made a start to reworking Help:Table markup now. I'll continue working on it. The Solar Dragon 18:43, September 18, 2014 (EDT)
ConfirmEdit extension
I think you might want to take a look at this: http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:ConfirmEdit. It really could prevent spambots from registering on this wiki. I'm not kidding. :) Or is there one already instealled? If so, maybe there needs to be some necessary tweaking. I'm just trying to help out. Gazlene the Pork Girl (talk) 20:33, September 23, 2014 (EDT)
- Our spam problem used to be a lot bigger than it is right now. I would delete one spam page and block the user and there would be 2 or 3 more pages when I checked recent changes. ConfirmEdit helped a lot and reduced the amount of spam to what it is today. If you check Special:Version, you can see what extensions we have installed. Thanks for the suggestion but we already have it there. The Solar Dragon 03:59, September 24, 2014 (EDT)
Running bot; is there an archive?
I operated a bot in the "big" Wikipedia years ago. I could repair lot of articles with it here too. However somehow I have to collect title of articles that suffer a specific problem. Is it possible to download the archived Wikisimpsons pages at once like in Wikipedia? --2F13 (talk) 15:05, September 24, 2014 (EDT)
- I'm sorry but I'm confused as to what exactly you're asking for. The Solar Dragon 15:20, September 24, 2014 (EDT)
See this and for example this page. One can download all of contents in a form of single compressed file. So it is possible to scan raw text of all wiki pages with a program in order to find specific error. E.g. Wikisimpsons:Style_Guide_Episodes#Quotes_tab writes that The character's name should be put in a bold, along with a colon, also in bold. In million times colon is outside of bold marks. I could fix this my robot but first I have to "grep" the archive in order to find pages to repair. I don't want to crawl the site on-line like Google Search engine does. --2F13 (talk) 00:45, September 25, 2014 (EDT)
- Okay, I see now. I thought it might have been something like that but I wasn't sure. If you want access to a database dump, you'll have to ask our server manager, Jake. I'd suggest emailing him. However, I'm not sure how long it will take for him to get back to you as he's been pretty busy lately. The Solar Dragon 03:40, September 25, 2014 (EDT)

With your permission,
I was wondering if it would be okay for me to upload a pic of Krusty the Clown, Professor Frink and Doc Brown for the Back to the Future wiki, Futurepedia (http://backtothefuture.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page). To explain, Krusty and Frink were deemed suitable for a brief article due to their appearance with Doc Brown in one of The Simpsons Ride video, and of course, it couldn't hurt to have a Simpsonized version of Doc.
I'll be sure to provide credit to this wikia for their inclusion of course if the upload is okay with you. Antiyonder (talk) 15:08, September 27, 2014 (EDT)
- Okay, firstly, we're not a "wikia", we're a "wiki". Wikia is an evil corporation who only cares about money and doesn't care about its users. Secondly, images are owned by FOX, we don't own them, you're free to use images from our wiki anywhere. The Solar Dragon 15:23, September 27, 2014 (EDT)
- Ok, thanks. Antiyonder (talk) 15:28, September 27, 2014 (EDT)
- On the note of Doc Brown, would he qualify for the crossover character category? Antiyonder (talk) 16:15, September 27, 2014 (EDT)
- Sorry for bumping in, but does Wikisimpsons care about its users, unlike Wikia? It also seems that Wikia is where most newbies edit at (and where 1,000,000+ junk wikis are created). Gazlene the Pork Girl (talk) 16:20, September 27, 2014 (EDT)
- Yes, we care about our users. If anyone has any complaints, we'll listen to them. If they're reasonable complaints, we'll try and work to fix them. If anyone has any suggestions, we'll look into putting that into use. Meanwhile, Wikia staff butt into wikis, demote admins without talking to the community, block users without warning, claim discussions as "closed", even when they're not and then refuse to delete wikis when the ENTIRE COMMUNITY moves away. So many wikis moved away back in 2011. Because Wikia screwed up. The new skin was designed to make money. Users complained about not wanting the skin, Wikia forced it on us. They didn't listen, even though 90% of the users didn't like it. The Solar Dragon 16:40, September 27, 2014 (EDT)

"The Simpsons Guy"
Do characters, crew members and so forth from "The Simpsons Guy" get an article here? Just wondering :P --Fred (Talk • Contribs. • Editcount) 08:06, September 28, 2014 (EDT)
- I'm going to say yes. The same will go for Simpsorama. The Solar Dragon 10:18, September 28, 2014 (EDT)
- Do they really have to get an article? I mean, it is a Family Guy episode after all, not a simpsons episode. So I think that only named characters should get articles. And I'm not sure about some things in that episode getting an article like "Modern Family" or "For Pete's Sake". On the other hand, I would consider that the characters and crew and so from Simpsorama should get an article since it will be a Simpsons episode after all. I think a discussion on this should be opened. / Loco87 (TALK / Contribs) 15:35, October 2, 2014 (EDT)
- It's my opinion that we should treat this as a Simpsons special, so everything in the episode should get articles if it falls under the notability policy. However, if you want to open a discussion about it, feel free to do so. I'd like to see other opinions. The Solar Dragon 15:44, October 2, 2014 (EDT)
- I see your point. It's a Family Guy episode but we ought to treat it as a Special. I agree with this, if we treat it as a special, then all the things in the episode should get an article. Anyway, I think that the Crossovers Section in the Notability Policy page should only be for the "Family Guy" or non-simpsons episodes. I'm feeling as if all I'm said now has not much sense at all. But anyway, I think that the Notability Policy should undergo some little changes, like those that you suggested some months ago. / Loco87 ( / Contribs) 16:49, October 2, 2014 (EDT)

Hey, for some reason I can't log in to Wikisimpsons Answers. - Okay, I used to have this problem too. Are you using HTTPS on Wikisimpsons? There should be a box to tick to log in with it. It was a problem with that that wouldn't let me log in on both before, although it works now. Try logging in without it and seeing if there's any difference. If it works, try logging in again with HTTPS and seeing what happens. The Solar Dragon 11:37, October 1, 2014 (EDT)

30K Articles
Hi Solar! Now that we've got to 30k articles, I think that our Facebook & Twitter pages should be updated. I mean the description part of those pages where it says that Wikisimpsons has over 20.000/25.000 articles should say over 30.000 articles! / Loco87 ( / Contribs) 08:55, October 4, 2014 (EDT)
The Simpsons Guy trivia
Did you know that there was some controversy before the episode aired on Fox due to the rape joke Stewie Griffin used which the Parent's Televison Council, a long time critic of Family Guy tried to keep it from being aired with the rest of the episode. Here are a few sources that can verify this. [1][2]. 73.190.124.47 07:58, October 5, 2014 (EDT)

Simpsons Wikia Plagarism
Hi, I was comparing this article (Hellroads student (4)) with Simpsons Wikia's article here. The content from the former was copied into the latter. Also compare:
- Hellroads student (2) vs. Simpsons Wikia's
- Hellroads teacher vs. Simpsons Wikia's (only one word change)
It's unfair how their wiki is getting credit for this wiki's stolen content. I was hoping you can give feedback about this. Although the articles on Simpsons Wikia might be changed. And Treehouse of Horror XXV's article there is more informative than here, but not necessarily stolen. Work probably needs to be ramped up for that article. Encouraging Animation Domination Wikias to Leave the Site
You know how there is NIWA? I was wondering if we can encourage some communities on Wikia to independently host their animated wikis. In this specific instance I'm talking about Animation Domination wikis on ShoutWiki or independently hosted (e.g. Family Guy Wiki). I've noticed many wikis about animated shows yet to be independently hosted. I think we should encourage wikis like Family Guy Wiki to be independently hosted. I'm surprised it isn't independently hosted yet. It bothers me to see good wikis having article quality problems on Wikia since 2013 (at least that's when I turned on Wikia upon discovering ShoutWiki). The wikis I'm specifically referring to are FOX's animated TV shows, because a wiki affiliation like NIWA would be nice.
Any suggestions or comments? The wiki I mostly want to be independently hosted is South Park Archives, but it doesn't count as a FOX show. Since this is the Simpsons Wiki, I'm talking about Animation Domination wikis. I would quietly suggest this to them to circumvent Wikia staff. Gazlene the Pork Girl (talk) 13:58, November 9, 2014 (EST)
- We had this idea ages ago, for an Animated Sitcom Wiki Alliance. Hell, we even had a website set up. However, it had difficulties taking off and we shut the project down. I don't think we'll try it again either in the future. It's too much work to get set up and I just don't have the time. The Solar Dragon 14:02, November 9, 2014 (EST)

I didn't knew that it violated the Naming policy
Hi Solar!. I'm Barthony70099!. Sorry for evade the blockade, but I didn't knew that put "Dr." on a name, violates the Naming policy. Also I didn't even know existed such policies. But this is a Simpsons Wiki, not a Family Guy Wiki, and can't put that edition, unless in a Family Guy wiki. Greetings! --201.248.225.106 16:34, November 16, 2014 (EST)
- I didn't just block you for that one thing. I blocked you for everything mentioned on your talk page. You've been blocked a couple of times before for various reasons, mainly breaking policies. A lot of your edits, well over 50% of them, usually get reverted or are needed to be cleaned up for various reasons. You cause a lot more problems than you solve. I'm sick of having to clean up after your edits. I considered blocking you indefinitely. However, I decided against it. If you come back after 6 months, I'll be a lot more strict with you. - Okay, let's look at what you did wrong between your last and current blocks:
- Template edits: Editing widely used templates, fucking up the layout of them, and leaving them.
- Promo images: Converting promo images into .png and adding low quality images categories to them, despite being previously warned about it.
- Really?: Adding a stupid point to a references article. Not using common sense. Not doing any kind of research at all to see how common a name Johnson is.
- Block 3: Your third block. After you renamed an article, making it against the naming policy, and added information unrelated to The Simpsons to an article.
- Those things, and all the things you did to receive previous blocks, are why I've blocked you for so long. You don't think. You don't use common sense. And you don't listen. Therefore, you will be sitting out your 6 month block. You're just lucky it's not longer. The Solar Dragon 17:31, November 16, 2014 (EST)

Christmas-themed featured stuff
Hi Solar. This is not something urgent (right now). Some days ago you asked me if I could find christmas-themed featured stuff for next month and I found (or better say uploaded) a good picture and found an xmas-themed episode that fits well. However, I haven't found a proper christmas-related article to get featured (those ones I've nominated fit more as Comprehensive articles). So, is there any article you could think of to be featured next month. (I've also said this on the article nomination page just in case someone thinks of one article and wants to nominate it.) Thanks! / Loco87 ( / Contribs) 17:46, November 16, 2014 (EST)
- If we can't find anything, we could always re-feature something. However, I think there is great potential in the Funzo article, if it's expanded on a lot. There should be enough information about them to make a featured worthy article. Also, we have the Christmas article, which does need a lot of work. Santa Claus was featured last year, I think. It could be re-featured if need be. The Solar Dragon 17:50, November 16, 2014 (EST)

I understand why you added that, but it blocks of all of the images that exists after 100 issues. (So there is a picture for #100 as there is for #130, but it only shows pictures up to #100, even though picture #130 exists). Please could you remove the 'no image' sign for any pictures (such as #130) and just keep it for issues such as #120 where there is no image. Besides, the red writing allows users to install pictures to fill it in. 81.157.95.83 08:10, November 27, 2014 (EST)81.157.95.83
Simpsons Comics UK Series 'No Image Available'
Hi Solar Dragon! I have come up with an alternative to the 'No Image Available' sign on the UK Comics page. (You can see it on the page: Simpsons Comics UK series ). I would appreciate it if you took the 'no image available' sign of the page, as it blocks pictures which exist after the first 100 issues. I have uploaded most of the comic front covers now, but until then, any non-existen pictures will be replaced by my sign. This also replaces the red hyperlink, and it allows any uploaded pictures to be seen.
Thanks for your help so far, and the Simpsons Comics UK pages are gradually developing well.

- Okay, no, it doesn't stop the images from appearing after the first 100 issues. I've done searches, none of the images exist! Therefore, the no image available image shows up. Check out Special:UnusedFiles, they're all there, unused on any page. You need to make sure the image names are the exact same as the images links, otherwise they won't show up. Al Jean has told me on Twitter that Aaron Sorkin's scene was cut. --Fred (Talk • Contribs.) 17:47, November 29, 2014 (EST)
- I guess that solves that mystery. He should be added to Intended guest stars. The Solar Dragon 18:26, November 29, 2014 (EST)
Donut bullet points
Hi Solar, I've just realized that the donut bullet points are gone (in the default skin) and we now have normal bullet points. Is there any way to fix it? / Loco87 (TALK / Contribs) 11:41, December 2, 2014 (EST)
- Just done a quick hack to get them in. Should be fine from now. The Solar Dragon 12:15, December 2, 2014 (EST)
- Actually, that was my fault. Putting in the donuts like that using http:// in the CSS file violates our site's SSL certificate. The protocol ambiguous // should be used instead when linking images in CSS. I tried fixing this yesterday but I made a small mistake in the coding that caused the donuts to disappear. This should be fixed at a server level now. --Jake 15:19, December 2, 2014 (EST)
Pin pals reference
I realized about 60 seconds after I wrote it, that the shirt did say homer on it. I was going to go back and remove it but you beat me to it. Thanks. PS, are there any images that need to be added that are from older seasons (1-14) as I can help with images. All my episode images are from the original airing (like in 'A Star is Born Again' the original mentioning of Hepburn is said) --Mcdude man (talk) 08:25, December 11, 2014 (EST)
- There probably are some but to be honest, the images you have been uploading are pretty low quality. We have access to DVD quality versions of episodes from seasons 1-16. If you have an email registered here, I can set you up with access to these episodes. For free. We only offer this to editors though. The Solar Dragon 08:35, December 11, 2014 (EST)
My email is registered and that would be awesome. Sorry about the lower quality, they were all original airing recordings done on VHS. If you could set me up with the HQ versions, I would gladly replace the images. --Mcdude man (talk) 08:44, December 11, 2014 (EST)
Preview Button Talk
Hi, what happened there with the Preview Button page? I put the text on AleWi's talk page instead so it doesn't show up there, but that was... weird? please enlight me :) This is weirder! I added this text with the + button on top, not with editing... LetsPlayNintendoITA (talk) 13:44, December 12, 2014 (EST)
Episode Scripts
Hi Solar. I've just uploaded to Wikisimpsons' Google Drive some episode scripts I've found through the net. They are mainly the scripts from all the season 25 episodes (except from SABF18-The Yellow Badge of Cowardge) and a couple more scripts from other seasons I've found. There might be useful information in those scripts. You may want to look them. / Loco87 (TALK / Contribs) 10:01, December 14, 2014 (EST)
- I'm looking at them now. Could help with character name spellings etc. Thanks! The Solar Dragon 10:08, December 14, 2014 (EST)

- Okay, thank you. I'll make the changes. The Solar Dragon 08:53, December 17, 2014 (EST)
- Hi Solar, I've just seen there are new promo pics in FoxFlash. They are from "Bart's New Friend". I don't know why, but they seem to have skipped the promo pics for "TMWCTBD". So, could you upload them. I could add the licensing and categories if you are busy. / Loco87 (TALK / Contribs) 09:59, December 17, 2014 (EST)
South Park Archives Might Move to ShoutWiki
Hey Solar, I'm letting you know that I helped South Park Wikia to consider moving to ShoutWiki. Because you're one of the staff members at ShoutWiki, would you be willing to move the wiki if the community finally comes to a conclusion to move it?

- I'm afraid I've been an inactive staff member there for months now. You should use Special:Contact on ShoutWiki to send in a support ticket. The other staff members can then help you from there. The Solar Dragon 16:49, December 20, 2014 (EST)
The Simpsons Movie/Appearances
Hi Solar, I've seen you created a page similar to what I suggested. That's great, but I would also include in the rules on the talk page that when suggesting additions, users should also say where/in which moment of the movie does the suggested character/media/location/... appear. Doing that would allow us to check the suggested additions without having to watch the full movie. / Loco87 (TALK / Contribs) 06:26, December 23, 2014 (EST)
- Okay, I'll add a few more rules in. I've been thinking of more. The Solar Dragon 07:03, December 23, 2014 (EST)
"Twitter" article link
Hi Solar, I've just noticed that in the category page that you've created some hours ago happens that this: All users with Twitter.
appears like this All users with .
And if you look in this message it happens the same: Twitter. The link doesn't appear. What might happen?? / Loco87 (TALK / Contribs) 17:32, December 24, 2014 (EST)
- Can you give me a print screen? It looks fine to me. I see the links fine. The Solar Dragon 17:41, December 24, 2014 (EST)
Don't forget
Hey Solar in wikisimpsons:the simpsons movie appearances. Not to be rude but you forgot a lot of characters. In the Characters from move to church scene you forgot to add almost every character in the list. can you please add them before Febuary. Thanks for reading. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Homer24 (talk • contribs) 19:59, December 28, 2014
- I didn't forget them. It was late and I was too tired to add any more. You do know it's not an easy task. It's long and boring. Plus, the more you pester me about it, the less I want to do it. I'm doing it at my own pace, bit by bit. Okay? The Solar Dragon 02:05, December 29, 2014 (EST)
Krusty Doll
Hey Solar,
Thanks for the fix. Originally when I tried putting in the category link for toy, it didn't show up, instead it added the category to the page instead of showing the link.
Do you think the article is still a stub? It's ok if you do, I am just wondering (it is pretty cluttered with notices). Anyway I have been expanding it quite a bit and will continue to do so. And if there is anything else that could use some work I would be happy to assist as best I can.
Thanks again --Mcdude man (talk) 09:11, December 30, 2014 (EST)
Featured Poll
Hi Solar! Is there a chance you can choose the Featured Poll for this month. There are lots of ideas in that page and the rules say you have the final say on them. Thanks! / Loco87 (TALK / Contribs) 14:32, January 3, 2015 (EST)
- You can go ahead and choose the poll. I should also update the rules too. The Solar Dragon 15:04, January 3, 2015 (EST)
Splash Screens
Hi, I saw you protected the main page (for obvious reasons). Hope the contribution of the splash screens is good. please don't kill me cause i made the 3 edits, but after a night of searching and editing to do this on topix, it was 8am and my eyes were shutting down. Hope it's a good gallery addition to the page! LetsPlayNintendoITA (talk) 01:52, January 8, 2015 (EST)
- We already have most of the splash screens around the wiki actually... There probably wasn't any need to upload those... I'll try and locate the old images and replace them in a few days if no one has done so already. The Solar Dragon 05:07, January 8, 2015 (EST)
"Bart's New Friend" director
Hi Solar. What's the source for Bob Anderson being the director of "BNF"? You forgot to add it. / Loco87 (TALK / Contribs) 15:40, January 11, 2015 (EST)
- David Silverman on Twitter. I just thought since it was airing tonight, it'd be unnecessary to source it so close to airing. We'd just forget to remove the source again afterwards. lol The Solar Dragon 15:46, January 11, 2015 (EST)
- Ok. Before writing the other message I checked all the Simpsons-related staff Twitter accounts to see if it was said by one of them. The only one I actually didn't check was Silverman's. Anyway, I agree with the point that the episode airs in a few hours so there's no need to add the source just to remove it some time after. So, ok. / Loco87 (TALK / Contribs) 17:21, January 11, 2015 (EST)
Crossing off task from the to-do list
Hi Solar, I was just wondering when does a page qualify to be crossed off from the to-do list? I've been working on the pages for Legs and Louie, both of which were on the list to just 'Improve'. I've completed their list of episode/game appearances, re-organized some profile bio, added some trivia and added references. I'm still going over all their appearances in books and comics (which will take longer than a week since there's so many out there...but I'm always creeping on the mafia characters' pages on a regular basis anyway lol). Mrs JohnnyTightlips (talk) 04:20, January 12, 2015 (EST)
- Could probably do with a "History" section like many other characters, listing important events they have taken part in. Cameos shouldn't be included in this. The Solar Dragon 04:40, January 12, 2015 (EST)
The "someone left a message in your talk page" message is gone
Hi Solar! I've just noticed that a user left a message in my talk page but the message that appears when someone leaves a message in your talk page didn't show up.(The one with the "clouds" background). Is it because of the MediaWiki upgrade?? Is it happening to you too? / Loco87 (TALK / Contribs) 16:05, January 13, 2015 (EST)
- My guess is it's because of the upgrade. You now get a notification between your user and talk page links at the top of the page (the number goes up depending on the amount of notifications you have). Best to ask Jake if he can bring back the old notification as well, as it's better and more noticeable in my opinion. The Solar Dragon 16:07, January 13, 2015 (EST)
Countdown
Hi Solar. Are you able to see the countdown in the sitenotice. Because I'm not. I've checked if it could be due to the ad-blocker, but it's not. Can this be related to the MediaWiki upgrade? / Loco87 (TALK / Contribs) 11:55, January 16, 2015 (EST)
- Best to ask Jake about this. I'm working on something else right now so I can't look into this just yet. It disappeared right after the upgrade though so I guess it's to do with that. The Solar Dragon 12:28, January 16, 2015 (EST)
TABF04
Hey Solar, I got your email just so you know. Anyway, I checked FoxFlash and three promotional images for "The Musk Who Fell To Earth" (TABF04) have been released. Thanks! --Fred (Talk • Contribs.) 20:43, January 16, 2015 (EST)
- Oh, and my FoxFlash account is still pending "admin approval" at the moment. --Fred (Talk • Contribs.) 20:44, January 16, 2015 (EST)
Blog roles
Hi, I see the blog's finally set up. In terms of blog roles, will we hold a consensus where everyone chooses, or, something else? Thanks. (P.S. I'd quite like to post on Tapped Out) ~ Phinbart (talk • contribs) 06:14, January 17, 2015 (EST)
- At the moment, it's everyone posts what they want to post. If we end up getting some sort of clashes along the way with people trying to post the same content, then we'll sort out some sort of roles. In the meantime, can you save as drafts and I'll publish. I don't think everyone posting blog posts at the same time would be that beneficial. lol. I'm trying to spread them out a bit over the day. The Solar Dragon 06:18, January 17, 2015 (EST)
I learned my lesson. I will respect the Wikisimpsons policies
Hi Solar! You remember me? I'm Barthony70099. I was blocked infinite. But I am an apprentice user, even though my account was created in 2012. I read all Wikisimpsons policies and i swear respect it and never violate it. Really i miss the old times, when i was uploading images in Wikisimpsons. When i was blocked, I didn't knew some policies. Please Solar, unblock me. All I ask is one more chance. --201.211.249.42 16:10, January 19, 2015 (EST)
- slowly applauds* Well done on violating a policy in asking me to unblock you. The Solar Dragon 16:19, January 19, 2015 (EST)
