- The Holland, Michigan Tulip Time Festival is a real life festival.
- Krusty being declined more money for his act and deciding to open a Krusty Burger across the street, which leads to Gus and Abe to going out of business parallels how Ray Kroc of McDonald's responded to not being able to get the original "Big M" location by opening a franchise near it that forced the McDonald Brothers out of business.
- Mav Redfield mentions Kenny Chesney.
- Sheila and Lisa watch a movie at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts.
- Sheila says the movie was made by Chloé Zhao.
- Angela Merkel, Kevin O'Leary (who Sheila refers to as the bald, creepy Shark Tank guy), and Charli D'Amelio attend the meeting.
- Augustus tells Sheila that Megan Ellison is now his daughter.
Continuity
- The Khlav Kalash Vendor appears. ("The City of New York vs. Homer Simpson")
