The Emmy Awards are awards presented at one of the numerous annual American events or competitions that each recognize achievements in a particular sector of the television industry.
History
Kent Brockman has won several local Emmys. He also said his story at the Springfield Rescue Mission smells like another Emmy.[1]
At the Daytime Emmy Awards ceremony, Krusty the Clown presented the category for Best Substitute Performer for a Children's Series, the nominees were Sideshow Bob, during his time in prison, Colonel Coward, Droppy Drawers, Pepito and Suck-up the Vacuum, the winner was Bob for The Krusty the Clown Show, but his award was confiscated by the prison guards.[2]

Since 1990, The Simpsons has been nominated for and has won multiple Emmy Awards.
On September 16, 1990, Simpson family presented the award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series at the 42nd Primetime Emmy Awards. On August 25, 1991, Bart introduced the 43rd Primetime Emmy Awards. On September 22, 2019, the ceremony began with Homer to host the event, before an animated piano dropped from the ceiling to land on Homer.[18]
