Eggnog is a creamy holiday drink made with milk, cream, sugar, and eggs.

History[edit]

During the Christmas season, Homer Simpson complained that eggnog was only available for thirty days a year. He poured eggnog over his cereal while Marge noted that it was the only thing left in the refrigerator besides the usual groceries. Later, after Bart was caught shoplifting a video game, Homer included a ban on eggnog in his son's punishment.^[1]

Homer wonders why eggnog, which he considers the second-greatest beverage, is not served all year long.^[2]
