"The Book Job" is the sixth episode of the twenty-third season of The Simpsons. The episode is loosely based on the Ocean's Eleven film series. Actor Andy Garcia guest stars, playing a character similar to his one in Ocean's, Terry Benedict.[1] It will air on November 20, 2011.

Plot
Lisa becomes disheartened when she learns the shocking truth behind the "tween lit" industry and her beloved fantasy novel characters, but Homer decides to cash in on the craze and forms a team to group-write the next "tween lit" hit, with the king of fantasy, Neil Gaiman (guest-voicing as himself), lending his expertise to the effort. After catching the eye of a slick industry publisher (guest voice Andy Garcia) at the Springfield Book Fair, the team gets an advanced copy of their work and discovers that the corporate lit business is a bigger operation than they imagined.[2]
Matt Selman: "Homer and some people in Springfield have to perpetrate an Ocean's Eleven-style heist in the non-Ocean's Eleven world of children's fantasy book publishing." Garcia plays "an evil children’s fantasy book publisher", who, in a nod to his Ocean's Eleven character, will always have a famous painting behind him.[1]
Production
Neil Gaiman posted photos on TwitPic of his work in an episode of The Simpsons. One of his photos reveals the cover of the script and the name of the episode as being "The Book Job".
