Louisiana is one of the 50 states in the US. The capital is Baton Rouge and the most populous city is New Orleans.

History[edit]

After getting run out of Florida, the Simpson family was trying to decide on where to go for their next vacation. They were looking at a map of the US that had most of states crossed out, which were apparently all the states that the Simpsons were no longer allowed to enter.

According to Vic, who does TV commentary for the Springfield Isotopes baseball games, "the great Mel Ott use to raise ducks in Louisiana during the off-season."[1]
