History

"Panamanian Strongman" arcade game with Noriega

While studying Theodore Roosevelt, Bart reads a book called A Man, a Plan, a Canal, Panama! - The 800 Best-Loved Teddy Roosevelt Palindromes.[1]

Bart was at Noiseland Arcade playing Panamanian Strongman with images of Manuel Noriega and Uncle Sam angrily looking at each other on the machine. Within the Panamanian Strongman game Bart played as a giant, bare-chested, incredibly muscular Noriega, but lost when Noriega falls from the top of a very tall building after being shot by armed biplanes in a reference to King Kong. The flagpole at the top of building was flying the Panamanian flag.[2]
