"Sorry Not Sorry" is the upcoming 9th episode of season 32. It will air on December 6, 2020.
Synopsis
- "Lisa calls her teacher, Ms. Hoover, a hack and refuses to apologize. Then, she learns Ms. Hoover's private pain."
Plot
On top of the Simpson House, Homer and Lisa are stargazing, and Lisa is upset due to what happened at school with Miss Hoover. The previous week, after a greasy breakfast argument, Lisa explains how she built a mobile for her "Who Inspires You?" project, a recreation of Earth, surrounded by satellites, inspired by Gladys West, the matematician whose work helped creating the GPS.
After Homer reminesces how it ruined his chances to avoid Patty and Selma's birthday party three weeks later, Lisa dreams of getting into Yale using the project. At school, kids start presenting their projects and Lisa presents it with a rap, a report and a statue made of chips. Miss Hoover however gives her a B- grade, and when she protests and call her an uninspiring hack, she sends her to detention.
