Canada is a country in North America and the capital city is Ottawa. The Simpsons have visited Canada on several occasions. Homer, Grandpa, Apu and Ned all visited Canada to get drugs from their into Springfield but got arrested for doing it. Canada is the largest country in North America, but is sparsely populated. Canada has 10 provinces: Alberta, New Brunswick, Ontario, Quebec, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, British Columbia and Newfoundland. It also has 3 territories: Nunavut, Northwest Territories and Yukon. The French-speaking province of Quebec has tried to gain independence from Canada because of its cultural differences from the rest of the country.
