Inspiration Point is a location in Springfield and a popular make-out spot among its teenagers.
History[edit]
As a teenager, Homer Simpson used to park his car out there to binge eat.[1]
After Springfield High School's prom, Artie Ziff takes his date Marge Bouvier there only to become too sexually aggressive and she demanded to brought home. While on the way to her home, Marge noticed Homer walking back from Inspiration Point alone and she drove back by herself to give him a lift.[2]
After Dr. Hibbert informed Homer and Marge that she was pregnant with Bart, Homer brought Marge there for his marriage proposal.[3]
When Springfield installed a network of CCTV surveillance cameras, one of them covered Inspiration Point. Ned Flanders was one of the people who monitored the surveillance video feed, and he would use the cameras and sound system to catch kissing teenagers (such as Jimbo and Shauna) at Inspiration Point and tell them to stop what they were doing.
