Synopsis[edit]
- "Homer loses track of Maggie who hops in Grogu's hovering pram for a hyperspace-hopping adventure across the galaxy. Facing a squadron of Imperial TIE fighters, Maggie brings the battle to Springfield in this epic short celebrating all things Star Wars."
Plot[edit]
At Mon Mothma and Me daycare, The Mandalorian tried to take Grogu in, however he is forced to leave all his weapons in Grogu's pod before he can. Homer and Maggie then arrive at the daycare, but Homer notices that Moe's Cantina is across the street and goes there instead, leaving Maggie in Grogu's pod. Homer has a quick drink in Moe's then goes to leave, but is eaten by an alien. Whilst Maggie gets impatient waiting, she activates a button in the pod and unlocks the controls. As she messes with them, the Mandalorian comes out and tries to stop Maggie with the darksaber. However, Maggie manages to speed away in the pod before he can do so.
Maggie gets chased by Chief Wiggum and Lou until Maggie throws a donut out of the pod, causing Chief Wiggum to chase that instead. Maggie then goes over the school and goes into hyperspace, leaving Earth. Maggie is then chased down by Gerald Samson in a TIE fighter. Gerald is then forced to have a nap by the ship's AI. When Homer is regurgitated by the alien, the Mandalorian tells him that Maggie is in space. Homer tries to track Maggie on his phone, but finds that she's too far away.
The opening crawl starts, and Maggie smashes through it in the pod. One of the letters hits Gerald and he gets woken up. Gerald continues to chase Maggie with a whole fleet of TIE fighters on her tail. Maggie heads back to Earth and the chase goes through Springfield. As Maggie is surrounded, a UFO piloted by Kang and Kodos appears and they destroy all the TIE fighters except for Gerald's. Gerald shoots at Grogu's pod and causes it to start crashing down to the planet. Maggie then uses the Mandalorian's grappling hook to get hold of Gerald's TIE fighter and she throws her pacifier into the ship and into Gerald's mouth. Gerald becomes calm after this and flies off again, leaving Maggie in Grogu's pod again. Maggie then gets sad because she no longer has her pacifier, but BB-8 appears in the back of the pod and gives her another one.
