Synopsis[edit]

Lisa makes a new friend who loves horses. But when Lisa meets her friend's social circle, she finds that they're all snooty rich girls who dislike her. Meanwhile, Homer takes Marge on a romantic cruise.

Plot[edit]

Raphael, who is the postman, arrives at the Simpson house and informs Homer that his mailbox has been full for weeks. Homer brings the mail inside, and Lisa discovers she has been invited to a sleepover with her library friend Addy.

After some bickering between Lisa and Bart about horses, Lisa severs their sibling bond. Homer and Marge take Lisa to Addy's house. While the kids are being looked after, Homer takes Marge on a sunset cruise.

Lisa and Addy go on a horseback ride and meet the other girls—Bella-Ella, Sloan, and Tessa Rose—three snotty girls who mock Lisa's gifts for Addy, calling them things for little ladies.

Lisa tries to call Homer and Marge, but due to poor reception, the message does not go through, leaving her stuck at the party. The girls make her go viral after she gets scared by the show Thank God I'm Dead.

Lisa hides in the bathroom, and Addy finds her, explaining that she invited Lisa so the other girls would make fun of Lisa instead of her. Addy says she plans to invite someone else next time to continue the cycle.

Lisa runs away and tries to call home, but Bart refuses to help because of their earlier fight. When the girls take her phone, Bart decides to rescue her and calls a car service—which turns out to be Principal Skinner.

Meanwhile, at the cruise, Homer misinterprets the lead singer of Sailor's Delight hitting on Marge and accidentally sends their set list and the alcohol into the sea, ruining the cruise.

Back at the party, the girls throw Lisa's phone onto a high shelf and place it in a cup. Bart arrives, but instead of just rescuing her, he joins Lisa in plotting revenge by putting hoof hardener in the girls' hair.

Marge calls, worried due to Lisa's earlier attempts to reach them. Lisa tells her she's fine, while Homer saves face by convincing everyone he saved their marriage by disrupting the party.

The girls wake up to find their hair styled like Lisa's after their hair twirls fall out. Bart and Lisa hide in the barn and ride off on a horse, with Bart revealing his fear of them.

They are soon surrounded by the girls, but Lisa convinces Addy to break free from the group and return to her true self. Meanwhile, at the cruise, Weezer performs their rendition of the The Simpsons Theme.
