Togonia
Country Information
Continent: Oceania
First mentioned: Spree for All

Togonia is a country, likely located in the South Pacific.

History[edit]

After Bart wins a 5 minute shopping spree at a toy store, he soon starts to regret it when everyone in Springfield starts asking him to get them toys. After coming home from school, Marge introduces Bart to his "long-lost cousins from the tiny republic of Togonia." The family had come bearing "salted pork balls" and "wint-o-green banana gum", hoping that Bart would get them some toys in exchange for the gifts.

Behind the Laughter[edit]

  • Togonia is a fictional country.
  • Although it is never specifically stated where Togonia is, Bart's cousins are dressed in a manner similar to various Pacific island nations.
  • The country's name suggest it is likely a parody of Tonga, another Pacific island country.
