Synopsis

"Homer starts to teach sport players his dances and is placed in charge of the halftime show of the next Super Bowl. Meanwhile, Ned creates a violent film about Bible stories, which makes Marge angry, so she stops him from displaying it."

Plot

The Simpsons go to Springfield Park and find it had become run down. Marge suggested holding a charity carnival to fund the park, but the family quickly found out that somebody had beat them to it and a charity carnival was happening at the pavilion in the park. The family go to the carnival where a charity auction is taking place. Homer immediately bids all his money ($100) on a video camera, but Ned outbids him, winning the camera. Homer then complains about never winning anything when Bart wins at a carnival game. Homer then attempts the same carnival game and wins in a more spectacular fashion, causing the man running the game to give Bart's prize (a large stuffed octopus) to Homer instead. Happy at winning, Homer gloats and performs an obnoxious dance routine which Ned records on his new video camera. Comic Book Guy then asks Ned if he can have the video to upload online. Ned gives Comic Book Guy the video, despite not having spoken to him before.

Comic Book Guy uploads the video online and Homer becomes the laughing stock of the world, with tour buses coming up to the house to gawk at him. One day, football player Deion Overstreet comes to the door and tells Homer that he wanted to buy his obnoxious dance routine for $1,000. Overstreet also tells Homer that he'd like to buy other dance routines he can make because his touchdowns never make it to the highlight reels. Homer then begins to teach Deion new routines to perform.

Meanwhile, in the Flanders house, Rod and Todd are watching an adult commercial for Jammitin. Ned gets annoyed at this and decides to use his new video camera to film a Bible story, with Rod and Todd playing Cain and Abel. At the Springfield Stadium, Overstreet takes part in his first game since he started getting coaching from Homer. An ill kid called Timmy Thomas asks Deion to perform an obnoxious dance routine for him, which he does. A montage of Deion performing dance routines then plays. Homer then gets a call from LeBron James, who also wants Homer's help with making his celebrations more entertaining.

At the First Church of Springfield, Ned shows his violent video to the crowd, who all love it, except Marge who finds it too violent. After hearing how the audience would pay to see the film, Mr. Burns enters a partnership with Ned to produce more films. Back at home, Homer has now opened the Homer Simpson Showboating Academy. As well as LeBron James, attendees include Michelle Kwan, Tom Brady, Yao Ming and Warren Sapp. Homer begins to teach his new students and then they all have dinner together with the rest of the Simpson family. After dinner, Marge notices that the next film Ned is making is even bloodier than the first one.

At the Aztec Theater, Ned shows off his next film. When Marge decided that it was too violent, she disrupted the playing of the film and called for a boycott to Mr. Burns. After Burns finds out that the rest of the town know about other energy sources, and threaten to use them, Burns pulls financing from Ned's films. Later, on the TV show Jock Center, Homer's students are seen in a highlight reel performing their new moves. Homer is then taken to see the commissioner of football, Bud Armstrong. Armstrong tells Homer that he wants him to make the half time show for the Super Bowl. Homer then gets to work with creating the half time show but can't come up with any ideas. Homer then goes to church to see if the homeless people had ideas, but found Ned instead. Ned and Homer decide to help each other out, with Ned making the half time show with Homer.

The day of the Super Bowl arrives and after the first half, Homer's show starts. The show is a retelling of Noah's Ark, with Homer playing Noah. The show is elaborate and destroys the playing field, and angers the audience, who all hate it. Homer becomes hated because his show was a blatant display of religion and decency, which people didn't want in the half time show. Back at home, the Simpsons and Homer's students are all watching TV when Marge brings out omelets for dinner and they all eat.
