The poster is usually based on the front cover artwork, which is based on the story, so the poster fits into the comic quite well. The posters are occasionally double-sided, with more artwork on the back, but when just one-sided contain adverts on the back.

The comic traditionally splits into different sections, on the last two pages. On the far left hand side of the left page there are is list of people who helped make the comic, then on the rest of the page there is the original artwork of what will be the front cover next issue. On most of the right page there is a description of what will be in the next comic, and a picture of the free gift. On the other section of the right page would be a little box with the next and current Simpsons Comics Presents comics, and the next Futurama comic/ and ad for Simpsons Comics Digital.
