Plot[edit]

Bartman comes to see Professor Frink, who has made a watch that turns the wearer into a pretty lady. Frink provides Bartman with some new Bartarangs. Frink tells him that one of the new Bartarangs can be used to freeze his enemies, one has speed sneezing power and one plays easy listening jazz. Bartman asks Frink what he has in his vat, to which Frink replies that it is his greatest creation: a metal robot. He just needs human DNA to encode their personalites. Bartman accidentally activates his Bartarang with sneezing power when he stands beside the vat and accidentally drops a bag containing his family's clothes. This causes an explosion and creates Holmium, Molybdenum, Lithium, Magnesium and Barium. Frink says that his perfect robot has been corrupted, and the robots become angry and escape from the lab.

Meanwhile at Springfield Nuclear Power Plant, Homer drops his lunch bag when he sneezes and knocks Carl's pepper mill into a tank of radioactive hard water. This causes an explosion and creates a monster that Lenny calls Gastro. Gastro leaves the plant and begins to wreak havoc throughout Springfield. Bartman has begun to follow the robots that he created and finds them at the Kwik-E-Mart. Bart grabs Magnesium to take her back to the lab, but Bartman burns himself when he grabs her. Bartman tries to use his frezzing Bartarang, but Barium sees what is going on and saves his sister by throwing Bartman out of the store. Lithium tricks Bartman into jumping into the Poolmobile, and while he is in the pool, Holmium takes his last Bartarang which plays soft jazz. Holmium becomes frightened, but Molybdenum tries to calm him down. Bartman tells them all that they remind him of people he knows, and they tell him that they feel it too. Then they see Gastro raging in Springfield and they all start attacking him, but they cannot stop him. Bartman runs away and gets an idea. He borrows Apu's sticker gun and puts a label on Gastro that says Best Before May 1995, causing Gastro to explode.

Holmium, Molybdenum, Lithium, Magnesium and Barium are now locked up by Frink, and Bartman tells Barium that he designed the room. Bartman gives Apu back his gun and sees that he is selling sandwiches made from the remains of the monster. Homer then enters the Kwik-E-Mart, buys the sandwich and tells Bartman that he would like to be a superhero just like him. Bartman tells him he already has a superpower: an iron stomach.
