Señor Ding-Dong, Master of the Doorbell in: For Whom the Doorbell Tolls! is a Simpsons Super Spectacular story first printed in Simpsons Super Spectacular #8.

Plot[edit]

Señor Ding-Dong gets a phone call from Waylon Smithers, Jr., who asks him to install a high-security doorbell for Mr. Burns. Ding-Dong has to be tough to get up to the entrance to the house: he has to jump over a wall, get chased by dogs and avoid a minefield. Afterwards, Ding-Dong shows Mr. Burns a new set of bells but the first is too "literary", the second too "salty", the third too "trademark", the fourth too "on-target", the fifth too "Neanderthal", the sixth too "jolly good", the seventh too "hairy", and the eighth too "Rube-Goldberg-ian", but the ninth suits Burns, although Ding-Dong believes that it is too complicated for a man of his generation.

A few hours later, Ding-Dong has installed the Ring-A-Tron 4002, which has a laser, an automatic hand and pepper spray. Ding-Dong gives Burns the bill, but he refuses to pay. Ding-Dong tells him that he ordered the most expensive bell and it costs money. Burns asks Smithers to throw out Ding-Dong, but he defends himself with the bell he has installed. He uses the laser on Smithers, the pepper spray on the dogs and with the automatic hand he takes Burns' wallet from his shirt pocket to get his credit card so he can pay for the product, plus a nice tip. Burns realizes that he has been defeated and realizes that the Billionaire Club geezers will laugh at him. Ding-Dong leaves Burns and asks him not to call him again.
