The Wright Flyer is the first aircraft ever built.

Sideshow Bob stole the Wright Flyer, which had been an exhibit in an air show, after he kidnapped Bart, with the commanding officer upset as "the Smithsonian's going to hand my ass on a platter" as a result. Just then, two Air Force F-14s took off to intercept Bob. However they overshot the Wright brother's plane, so the pilots suggested they get out and walk.
Bob, holding the knife's blade to Bart's neck, planned a kamikaze mission by crashing the plane into the civil defense shed where Krusty was hiding. He flew towards Krusty's shed, humorously yelling "DIE KRUSTY DIE!!".
