The Enola Gay is a USAAF B-29 Superfortress that dropped Little Boy, the first atomic bomb used in warfare, on the Japanese city of Hiroshima during World War II.

History

The plane was seen at the Springfield Air and Space Museum during Mr. Burns' private power plant employee party.

Behind the Laughter

The Enola Gay was parodied, as the "I'm On-A-Rolla Gay", in the episode "Bart the Fink".

The Enola Gay is exhibited in the Udvar-Hazy Center at Dulles International Airport near Washington, D.C., an annex of the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum.
