"Hail to the Teeth" is the 11th episode of season 31. It aired on January 5, 2020.

Synopsis

"Homer and Marge attend Artie Ziff's wedding and become quite uncomfortable when they realize that his bride-to-be is a clone of Marge. Meanwhile, Lisa grapples with the misogynistic implications of the immediate popularity she receives after getting her new Invisalign braces."

Plot

Lisa is walking on the sidewalk of a street reading Eco-Warrior Magazine, when she meets a man that tells her she'd be more pretty if she smiled. When she tells the family about it, Bart shows her with an app, Puber, how she'd look in puberty, with a picture of her with braces.

The ortodontist they went to was a rouge periodontist and she has to get the braces on again due to playing the saxophone. Afterwards, Marge brings a gift they recieved to the table, an hologram of Artie Ziff inviting them to his marriage.

At Kidzrule Orthodontics!, Lisa gets the braces to her upper teeth and can't stop smiling broadly due to them. At Artie's bachelor party, after listening on how Artie met the woman of his new life and watching Kent Brockman fail to get laid, he gets on a coma after eating pork.

At school, everybody compliments Lisa, having changed their look on her thanks to the smile. At the wedding, no-one is on the wife's family, and they find out that the wife look like Marge herself.

Lisa finds herself with a new power, to influence people to do good, and starts using it at school for recycling and stopping the bullies, so she candidates as student body president, but she gets the lower teeth braces and loses her smile, turning it into a permanent frown, for six months, while Wiggum, Eddie and Lou go in search of Ralph's retainers on garbage island, after he finds out that new ones would cost $500.

At the hotel, Marge and Homer find out from Artie that the wife is really a robot and that he built many robots in her image. Marge convinces him he can use them for doing some good, and he uses them to build the Orfanato de Artie Ziff, an orphanotrophy, but when he tells an interviewer his future will be marrying one of them, they all fly away.

At the Student council debate, Mary Bailey is the moderator, and introduces Dubya Spuckler in person, and Lisa on a Skype call due to her being "sick", but her trick to hide the frown fails when Martin failed to use the program to modify her image wrong, and everybody don't believe in her anymore, voting for Dubya. One of Marge clones manages to console her, while 5 others prefer to power down than to have dinner with Artie.
