Tuscany is a region in Italy.
History
When searching for a new place to live, Sideshow Bob decided to choose his destination by stabbing a knife into a globe, and picking whichever place it landed. After stabbing North Korea, Florida, and "Bartovia" he eventually stabbed Tuscany, and began his new life there in a small town.[1]
One of the "Yupprechauns" mentioned a summer in Tuscany, in-between his other spoken gibberish.[2]
Milhouse is fluent in Italian because his grandmother Nana Sophie lives in Tuscany and since he was a baby he has spent two weeks every summer visiting her.[3]
Santa's Little Helper was getting psychological therapy from Dr. Elaine Wolff when her former love Clay came through the door announcing he had left his wife and wanted to run off together to Tuscany.[4]
