"Undercover Burns" is the upcoming 1st episode, and season premiere, of season 32. It will air on September 27, 2020.[1][3][4]

Synopsis

"Mr. Burns goes undercover as "Fred" at the nuclear power plant and becomes friends with Homer and the gang. Burns implements all sorts of amenities to improve his employees' lives, but a jealous Smithers plots to bring the old, bitter Burns back and destroy Fred.[5]"

As of this episode, Alex Désert takes over voicing Carl Carlson, taking over the role from Hank Azaria. This is due to non-white characters in the show no longer being played by white actors.[8]
