Synopsis

Marge and Lisa's mother-daughter Valentine's Day plans take a turn when Lisa meets Nick, an intellectual romantic who shares the same passion for culture, history and literature. Lisa and Nick fall head over heels for each other in a fairytale romance and make a secret getaway to Mulberry Island to profess their eternal love. Meanwhile, Bart and Milhouse are inspired by the hosts of "MythCrackers" to "crack" Springfield Elementary's own legends.

Plot

Bart and Milhouse reading their Valentine's Day cards and Milhouse become jealous that he just got two cards and Bart got more so they starting watching TV. After Marge throws them out of the house, they continue to watch TV at a gas station where they whatching MythCrackers and decides to crack myths. Their first myth is about if dangerous to use mobile phone on a gas station which it proved to be. Homer prepares himself for his Valentine's Day date with Marge but she ask Homer to instead take out Bart when she taking Lisa to a restaurant. Bart and Homer visiting then the Testoster-Zone while Marge takes Lisa to a restaurant. When Marge and Lisa is their is Marge runing away from the table when she sees that the sauce is ruined for someone used the wrong spoon. Lisa becomes alone at the table and discovers Nick. The two go together and pick one desert from desert table.

Bart and Milhouse continues crack myths and do it at the school and get Nelson to become addicted to pretend to smoke. Meanwhile Lisa is at the Le Petite Appétit with Nick and become so happy that she'll be late to the meeting with Marge at the The Needle Exchange. Days go by and Bart and Milhouse break a myth after another while Lisa continues hanging out with Nick. Lisa realizes that she is in love with Nick and tells it to Marge and convince Marge to let invite him home for dinner. At the dinner persuades Nick to Lisa's parents to take her to the Dorito's nutritions fair at the school gym. Marge realizes then that Lisa is spending to much time with Nick and misses their friendship and let her come along if she promises to spend less time with Nick after that.

Lisa makes a visit to the grandpa and tells him that Marge did not appreciate Nick, he tell then to her the story about Pyramus and Thisbe. This causes Lisa to get help from Abe to steal a kiss from Nick under an Mulberry tree. Bart and Milhouse has now broken all myths in school so they discovery that the school does not feel exciting anymore and they realize they have to come up with a new myth and after taking help from Willie have they creating a new myth.

Grandpa tries give Nick and Lisa a lift to Mulberry Island but he get stopped a few miles from the island by the police beacuse he has stealing the remote from the Springfield Retirement Castle. Nick and Lisa must find a new ride and found Cletus that gives them a lift. Nick and Lisa arrive to the lake where the island is located in and begins to rowing a boat to the island but during the rowing tour Lisa begins to lose her feelings for Nick. Grandpa has telling to Marge and Homer what he has done so they have starting to driving to the island to pick up Lisa. Nick and Lisa arrives to the island and when they thinking to kissing eachother, Lisa realizes that she will do a mistake if she kisses him and she breaking out. Marge comes then to the Island and after she gives Lisa a kiss on the forehead under a Mulberry tree. The two starting then to walk back to the mainland using water shoes. Homer is bothered to wait and take a watercraft to pick them up but runs aground. Homer came then up to the surface, but go quickly into the water again.

Reception

Competiting against the 54th Grammy Awards, this episode gathered 4.33 million viewers. Fox also struggled that night, with its ANIMATION DOMINATION block not gathering that many viewers: every show got under 5 million.[1]
