Vehicle Information
Owner: Homer Simpson
Use: RV
First Appearance: "The Call of the Simpsons"

The crappy RV is a vehicle which was used and wrecked. The original owner is unknown, but at some point it was traded in at Bob's RV Round-Up. Cowboy Bob later sold it to Homer Simpson. The model appears to be a 1985 Ford Motorhome.

History

It was the only RV that Homer could afford, so he took it, signing for a loan for an undisclosed amount, although Bob said Homer owed him $350 a month. It was bad and always backfired, it was falling apart and smelled. Yet the Simpsons went on their family vacation in it, and Ned Flanders, despite owning an RV of superior quality, commented on the Simpsons' RV. Homer didn't use any maps, so he ended up driving the vehicle straight through Springfield National Forest and almost plunging it off Tenderfoot Gorge. The Simpsons escaped, but the RV fell down the gorge and exploded.
