The Enola Gay is an USAAF B-29 Superfortress that dropped Little Boy, the first atomic bomb used in warfare, on the Japanese city of Hiroshima during World War II.

History[edit]

The plane was exhibited at the Springfield Air and Space Museum during Mr. Burns' private power plant employee party.

Behind the Laughter[edit]

The Enola Gay was parodied, as the "I'm On-A-Rolla Gay", in the episode "Bart the Fink".

The Enola Gay is exhibited in the Udvar-Hazy Center at Dulles International Airport near Washington, D.C., an annex of the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum.
