The Stingy and Battery Show was an improvised television program created by Krusty the Clown during Springfield's television crisis.

History

After Springfield agreed to shut down all television broadcasts in response to Sideshow Bob's nuclear threat, Krusty refused to leave the air. Broadcasting from a remote Civil Defense emergency station through the Emergency Broadcast System, he announced a new unscripted program, believing he would have the city's entire television audience to himself. As part of the broadcast, Krusty introduced The Stingy and Battery Show.
